Love & In Love was my junior comics final about three different types of love: Eros, romantic love; Philia, platonic love; and Philautia, self love.
Eros; a mailman is delivering love letters.
Eros; the man is at home sad because he didn't get any of the love. He looks up, and his partner is there with some flowers!
Eros; tucked in the bouquet is a love letter just for him. He tearfully embraces his wife.
Philia; an old woman waits at her window while it rains for the mailman.
Philia; the mailman brings her a letter that she's happy about.
Philia; The woman relaxes in her big chair, and the photo in the last panel reveals that the letter is from a childhood friend that she has kept in contact with.
Philautia; a slob of a man is sleeping when someone rings the doorbell.
Philautia; when he opens the door, he is faced with his childhood self.
Philautia; the boy has a letter that they had written about what they loved about themselves. Teary-eyed, the man embraces himself.
